We weren't able to attend one of our fav golf events, the Hamptons Golf Classic...at the flawless Hampton Hills Golf and Country Club in West Hampton, NY----as we were on a plane to Berlin for S/S 2010 fashion week.
But as the day's a confab of athletes, locales and biz types that benefits a different (worthy) charitable cause every year...it deserve a clip.
Hosted by New York Knicks Point Guard-Louisiana native Chris Duhon, the event benefited his STAND TALL FOUNDATION...that's dedicated to helping kids in need through recreation---and in this instance---to rebuild basketball courts in New Orleans, destroyed during Hurricane Katrina. NY Giants Defensive End Justin Tuck and Hamptons Golf Classic Founder Zev Norotsky helped out hosting...with cameras popping for special guests included Real Housewives of New York City’s Jill Zarin as well as this year’s honoree, Richie Notar, Managing Partner of Nobu Restaurants.
