SHOW : Carmen Marc Valvo SS’14   LEAD ARTIST:  Uzo for NARS Cosmetics   LOOK:  "With its fresh spin on tribal motifs combined with luxe fabrics and intricate embellishments, the collection called for clean and polished makeup with a bit of playfulness. We added a hint of platinum shimmer and a strong, graphic black eyeliner. Keeping the look modern and updated, a nude lip complemented the athletic playfulness in the collection."         DESIGNER INSPIRATION:  "The inspiration for this season is a kind of Tribal Techno. It's taking tribal patterns and treating them in a monochromatic form: black, white, silver. NYC Introducing  Carmen  Marc Valvo Calzature for Fall 2013 –      A partnership between H.H. Brown Shoe Company and  Carmen  Marc Valvo    – Designer Carmen Marc Valvo Well this is one impressive shoe collection debut...and clearly obvious was just how hands on Carmen Marc Valvo was with this signature collection of shoes that beautifully reflect his creative vision and apparel line. A licensee agreement ---with a lot of hands on interaction---with shoe giant H.H. Brown.   AND that the designer was actually taking the time out from a busy NY Fashion Week to  greet  attendees of FFANY-the a couple times a year Footwear Tradeshow.  BINA booties---LOVE!!!!! The Fall 2013 collections---both the clothing (high -end) and the shoes-(luxurious---made in Italy btw!!!) ---are elegant, dark in color...with black (and blacks)--- and deep burgundies and reds the dominant tones....
