Outdoor Retailer/SLC An outdoors focused tradeshow rarely (ever?) has uncomfortable shoes to preview-this crowd would not stand for it…but as the the entire fashion comfort category booms-imo-wearability extends beyond one or two seasons---making both the OTBT and Rockport selections we saw-good deals for consumers who look beyond the calendar and live/travel in different climates. Boots, particularly cropped boots aka booties-are worn year round…and some of the cutest gal kicks we've seen are by affordable label OTBT (priced in a sweet spot-mostly under $180)…with burnished leathers, on trend silhouettes- nice details-like hardware chains/buckles---in selections that go with frilly frocks, work tailored skirts-as well as casual denim which from what we can see-counts as work wear in ⅔ places that don't require a uniform- in NYC, anyway. Outdoor Retailer S/S 2015 COLOR Trends-Part 7 PINK pink pink  and BERRY Unlike what we saw on fashion runways for men's Resort- S/S 2015 (at least so far)… pink and berry in vibrant and more demure tones-still seem to be mostly shades for the females -when it comprises more than 20% of an item -in the 'outdoors' world.
