Whenever we go to see the Rockport folks-it's always an education in shoe construction-...to better appreciate -no doubt- just why brand's ultra-lightweight (because of the company's know-how on how to save weight, shoe wise), incredible all day comfortable, stylish footwear for metropolitan dwelling men (and women)...all get that way.

The first thing we did...was 'lift' the truWALK , natural walking shoe selections-particualrly the RocSport Lite bunch---that are so insanely light...they give a fistful of feathers competition on the weight end of things. WOW. Yet this Adidas owned company keeps the shock absorption power and energy return of the parent's technology via ADIPRENE®-plus other performance properties, some proprietary that we see in top-of-the-line athletic wear (Hydro-Shield™ waterproof, geoFIT-anatomically shaped collar + heel padding, moisture wicking ETC® linings, Agion® and X-Static® odor/anti-microbial destroyers-to name a few).

Other construction details- the flexed grooves of the outsoles and beveled heels-for soft strike and smooth step-cause running foot motions may differ...but we all walk heel first.
