Latest Design Trends: Natural + Tech

Part 4 Plastics and Memphis 80's -seem dated-ditched for 'natural' materials (or bumped up similes) bringing the 'home' craft vibe to  commercial and residential areas. JM Lifestyles  decorative concrete (and functional architectural elements-like rooftops, countertops as well as furniture, planters, bathtubs) and this BDNY BEST of Show tabletop...gathered loads of  interested eyeballs at the trade show. Woodform Concrete® + Real Concrete® (great for kitchen islands too)  are made from 50% post consumer recycled content and come in many colors.  Vermont Farm Table sources their wood sustainably AND builds their stunning tables (etc) in VERMONT! Solid wood-21 species' possibilities also include power and data integration-so cool -mixing up the farm vibe with the new. Green Wallscape-Garden Design Trends

Part 2 Lifelike faux  plants and preserved floral/greens are a major commercial design trend- and both are maintenance free. Decorative elements (accents) or splashy wallscapes-in silk or plastic -are available in custom sizes. Including ginormous. LDF Silks -LOVE= green arbor trellises -in  overhead planters-frame the EXCHANGE (by Marriott International & Design Poole) networking lounge/Crystal Palace -Javits. Other LDF Silk projects...pictured below... FYI-this amazing space also amped up courtesy of custom artworks via STUDIO E/L Hospitality featuring a bold Edie Sedgwick mural,+custom b/w photographs  on the brick wall. SO COOL it's practically tragic the spectacular BDNY spaces all get disassembled and not donated or auctioned/sold off for proceeds to a worthy charity.  Digital images of trees-hung on oversized banners from the ceiling-mixed in with a beautifully landscaped faux green wallscape= a terrific public space so inviting-as a low...
