Part 2
Lifelike faux plants and preserved floral/greens are a major commercial design trend- and both are maintenance free.
Decorative elements (accents) or splashy wallscapes-in silk or plastic -are available in custom sizes. Including ginormous.
LDF Silks-LOVE=green arbor trellises -in overhead planters-frame the EXCHANGE (by Marriott International & Design Poole) networking lounge/Crystal Palace -Javits. Other LDF Silk projects...pictured below... FYI-this amazing space also amped up courtesy of custom artworks via STUDIO E/L Hospitality featuring a bold Edie Sedgwick mural,+custom b/w photographs on the brick wall. SO COOL it's practically tragic the spectacular BDNY spaces all get disassembled and not donated or auctioned/sold off for proceeds to a worthy charity. |
Digital images of trees-hung on oversized banners from the ceiling-mixed in with a beautifully landscaped faux green wallscape= a terrific public space so inviting-as a low care hang out
Other maintenance free garden walls -made by vendor Naturalist.with gorgeous light fixture by Fine Art Handcrafted Lighting... ENCHANTED FOREST by Wimberly Interiors |
Fully preserved (toxin free fyi) natural plants by a young Belgian firm- Greenmood- as acoustic panels... |
Garden On on The Wall turnkey-maintenance free wall installations-10 yr lifespan |
We couldn't tell if this green oasis by Brooklyn based biophilic design studio OPIARY- is high maintenance but this stunning exhibit won BEST OF and beckoned attendees with its sculptural planters- with live greenery and a transporting wallscape design- as zen as a Japanese garden. And there was even a Koi pond (not pictured)
JM Lifestyles-used an eye catching plant container- to a winning effect-in this we want it - WOODFORM CONCRETE® bathtub- made to look like wood...and it really is IRL We were told this tub weighs less than if it was made with regular ole' cement. |
Residential spaces- and wellness/spas and even office lobbies - usually use real deal plants - so soothing...doubling as filtering (purifying) indoor air or as a lush green curtain vs less than stellar views of ...say-the building next door (check out Instagram for this phenom...).
