SLC/NYC Athletic shoes seem to be having quite the fashion moment these days…with primo priced designer labels offering up fancy bedazzled athletic sandals and lifestyle sneakers/high-tops--- Back during a 1980's transit strike in NYC-the whole wearing running shoes to work- by women in tailored skirt-suits ---who had to walk longer lengths than usual---was a phenomenon that kind of launched the whole thing.
