Discount chain Daffy’s is luring in bargain hunters of all things residential with their July 23rd launch of a contest…whereby talented wannabe renters can submit a 30 second video in hopes of scoring a one year rental in Manhattan’s West Village, for $700 a month…not $7000.
Yup, a 90% discount...on a flat at One Seventh, an angular shape glassed wall condo situated at Clark/Carmine streets.
To audition, the talented hopeful can submit their opus via booths set up at different Daffy’s stores in the NY area on different days…
One Seventh, is also the site of a pop-up shop for some of Daffy’s trendier goods..through the last day of the contest, August 14th. Hours are Monday-Saturday (11AM-8PM) and Sunday (12 Noon-7PM).
We were salivating over the potential to live in a dreamy space with 10 foot ceilings, Poliform Varenna graffite laminate kitchens with Sub-Zero refrigerators, Miele ovens and dishwashers, and Bosch washers/dryers, central A/C etc.
