EMPIRE HOTEL, NYC
Across the street from Lincoln Center...stylist/designer Rachel Zoe staged her runway show for F/W 2012...to a packed house.
(For Rachel Zoe----the sheer Amminah -a creamy pink beige-with pearly overtones...and Avery-full coverage neutral "blond beige" from the pale opaque category)
We had a few minutes backstage, prior to the show to chat with the Zoya nail team -including Rachel Isa, the leading light behind Zoya's colors.
Isa clued us in on her background-20 yeas in cosmetics -and a minor in chemistry-as we marveled at what an exacting science it is to design colors for different densities of nail polish.

It should be noted, Zoya nail polish is incredibly long lasting-we wear it all the time and unlike some other brands that peel off in a day...we only need to touch up the tips here and there. PLUS: Zoya nail polish is free of toluene, formaldehyde, DBP (phthalates) and camphor...a reason that Rachel Zoe herself is such a big fan.
