Our second season previewing the F/W 2011 Cushe collection (S/S 2011 link)---had us thinking this brand really does have its own stylish niche.

C.L.I.M.A.T.E. (Contains Low Impact Materials and Thinking Environmentally) sub-label.
Beginning with the bare bones, energy efficient production process that includes recycled/repurposed materials----
The Shucoon series for women and men, come delivered in a cocoon shape, held together by a wearable recycled rubber wristband.
The low impact mindset is found in the uppers, midsoles and outsoles ----very interesting btw-made from moulded rubber with pressed canvas.
WHAT ELSE:
For cold snowy winter weather, a collection of seriously tough, seamed sealed waterproof and water resistant boots and lace-up pac/hiking style boots are new for Cushe.

Notably, in this cozy Wildtrip (pictured above)---made with parent company Wolverine performance suede...the warm shearling with fleece lining goes all the way down the inner shaft of the boot...

Men and the ladies get many takes on lifestyle sneakers---a category we never really got until we started wearing them around town instead of our running shoes.
Big difference…as this on trend group are made for walking---a completely different foot strike from a natural running style .
