As soon as the clocks get turned back…we start feeling the need to GET OUT…find warmth and sun.
Quick beach jaunts, a last minute cheapie somewhere…are do-able. But advance planning is NOT a strongpoint…so we’re grabbing few key items (iPod, bathing suit, flip flops etc) and personal stuff for our overnighter.
And the best way we know to get us thinking sand, ocean, and surf---is a summery tan.
ST. TROPEZ…a cult favorite company that has range of products dedicated to giving users the glow they aren't were born with…fits the bill. Easy.
We demoed the simple to apply super lightweight SELF TAN BRONZING MOUSSE (it comes in a lotion and spray too) and EVERYDAY FACE (light/medium--comes in medium/dark)...
Right off, these nearly instant dry products both have a scent that didn’t get our gag reflex going. Apparently the Aromaguard™ fragrance technology, unique to ST. Tropez--- reduces the odor of DHA, the active ingredient that gives the tan color …by 70%.
What else we like…we tried the mousse as the weird warm weather had us in our summer clothes yesterday.
And it was idiot-proof…streak free, and gave our pale vampire white skin a realistic hint of color. The whole process took just five minutes. Retailing for $30 (4 fl oz) and $40 (8 fl oz)…it’s an accessible mood booster that can be used year round.

WE THINK: A good way to counter the redness of our skin that seems to emerge like clockwork as soon as the temps outside dip. And it makes our green eyes pop.
WHAT ELSE: An Allure Magazine Best Beauty Award winner and professional makeup artists' go to for an instant glow...IMHO a reason to spend a bit more for a self tanner--- than drugstore brands... AND works better than the higher priced cosmetic brands.
