Salt Lake City/Utah

REFLECTIVE TECHNOLOGY-GORE RUNNING, NATHAN, GOAL ZERO, SUGOI, TUBBS SNOWSHOES, COGHLAN'S

The bi-annual Outdoor Retailer tradeshow is this country's biggest gathering of outdoor enthusiasts---with apparel, footwear, gadgets, gear and everything else that makes stepping beyond one's front door (or flap-if in a tent)…a comfy, safe adventure, day or night…with an emphasis towards the eco-minded.

For deliveries starting in late Spring 2014---and on through the Fall (except where noted)…there was plenty of stuff to see…that guarantees one will be seen.

Whether using 3M's well established 360º reflectivity-or other brands…reflectivity is a key trend that goes waaay beyond mere logo pops on items. Which, in our experience, doesn't really guarantee visibility by auto driving humans…just ask the road kill.

Another winner in our most photographed award-the ZAP BIKE JACKET by Sugoi… introducing PIXEL-a fully reflective waterproof fabric designed for high visibility in low light-made by an Italian company, Plastotex. As one can see from the picture below-its made of 25% Micro-glass beads…60% polyester, 15% polyurethane. So the entire garment is reflectively visible in low lights-not just the smaller trim hits. Genius!!!!!
