A USA based company, Khombu was a new brand for us...even with it being the officlal kicker label for the USA SKi Team...
Named after an icy passage in the Himalayas...
Khombi launched in the late 60's as the waterproof, leakproof footwear solution for ----snowy/icy weather/après ski needs.
The Classics are stil in production---with additional kickers labeled Fashion and Outdoors.
Very affordable too---"a lot of bang for the buck"---for the boots that are cold rated from -20 F to -40F degrees. Price wise---the styles we saw ranged from $90-$135.
At the tradeshow we previewed several styles for women ---that while inclement elements tough---had feminine profiles ----and all had the Themolite insoles that's breathable, moisture wicking, anti-fungal, and with shock absorption properties....AND narrower toe characters, for not so clunky looks.
New---the wintry outdoor gets easier to work with--- with the addition of this Canyon lace-up boot
