SO Berlin, we thought as we walked down a nearly deserted street in the Chelsea art district...emptyish because we missed the presentation, a choreographed dance showing the clothes of designer Siki Im.
He was nice enough to offer a drink...and chatted a bit about his Spring 2011 clothes.
"It's about immigration...I was inspired by the movie La Haine;
A powerful French film...that follows the lives of Algerian French on the outskirts of society.
He himself was born in Germany to Korean parents, lived in Berlin...and moved to the USA nine years ago.
Well, Siki Im said it went great...
