Yara Flinn’s status as an emerging designer is old…as we thought the quasi runway/presentation we saw was polished, well edited---and a continuation of the label’s signature MO…

all characteristics of a seasoned pro.

Fitted, artful silhouettes, strategic sexy cutouts that seem architecturally inspired, not voyeuristic, and solid black, white and cobalt blue palette of the hip looking, mostly dresses…

All really draped, seamed and pleated to perfection.

We liked the asymmetrical frocks, a zip-front scuba dress, and the feminine tie front skirt and shirt dress---the latter in a blue that reminds us of Yves Klein claim to tonal fame.

This is the label for modern gals, sleek attire in chiffon, crepe, mesh and waxed cotton. We were happy to see the venue packed with the spill-over crowd from practically next door Milk Studios…that had a bunch of shows/presentations that night with a similar edgy vibe.
