Argentina born, Italian raised, Diego Binetti...
...is known for his exotic, ornate fashions for global aware women---the higher priced "Binetti" and the adorable, second line "I Love Binetti"---a RTW brand we previewed once in the intimate showroom with bright sunny windows overlooking NYC's 42nd Street Public Library.
For this presentation, Binetti continued with his love of wonderfully sparkling embellishments and decorative elements---magically embedded on elegant draped skirts, dolman sleeve dresses, fringed tunics...made of solid and printed silks.
"It wasn't so much inspiration-it was a desire to create a collection for what glamorous women would wear, " he told us.
The hand work, that "took hours to create" was fab...and trust us, this was not seen anywhere else.
----as were the amazing ManiCUBE manicures---nails with jewels, shards of glass, metal ornaments...attached to the model's tips---by one hard workin' CND team.
Dramatic, amazing...the details were incredible....
...including the shoes by Guiseppe Zanotti
and jewelry by Perez Sanz...
All on a comfy cork presentation floor courtesy of APCOR and Qu-Cork.
Maybe a tad much in a quick glance-to take in...but we think a lot of these items are wearable and flattering---especially the draped skirts and dresses.
