Lead designer Oliveira Baptista is aways inspired by Lacoste's rich sporty heritage---and so he and his employer were (and always are) a step ahead of this year's trendy Athleisure inspired athletic streetwear.
Highlights:
Clean silhouettes with urban edge, functioning fabrics (have to see/feel to appreciate, imo), and luxe comfort-marching orders for the entire collection-from the runway-to rtw-to the footwear (and
accessories)...AND OF COURSE THOSE P

The distinguishing commonality of almost all of the Lacoste footwear we saw at the most recent media preview---is taking the white rubber outsole of a typical tennis sneaker-and laces-mixed with a wide variety of upper textures---that for the most part-is super lightweight.
