Theoretically-the three different apparel groups-dubbed Performance, Ambitious and Fitness---are aimed at the a runner's performance level and engineered to fit together---but clearly, many items are interchangeable-with universal appeal to fast and slow-paced athletes- to a large extent. Bonus-besides the top of the line fabrics-there are a lot of design details that make these high end items -good for cold and transitional seasons.
