BODY GLOVE CELEBRATES 60th Anniversary

Outdoor Retailer Demo Dat +In Our Inbox...

Happy Birthday greets are in order for a still family owned and operated business---BODY GLOVE ---aka "..The most recognizable watersport brand celebrates its co-founders’ 85th birthday and 60 years of innovation, growth and fun in the sun."

To quote the press release...and  co-founder Bob Meistrell...
"We had three goals when we were small boys (in Missouri!!!!): own a submarine; go deep-sea diving; and treasure-hunting. Somehow we managed all three," Meistrell said-with reference to his twin brother, Bill. “Sixty years later, there are 3 generations of Meistrells diving, surfing and continuing our legacy of innovation, value and service at Body Glove.”
To say the brand has grown considerably...is a very fair observation...including protective gear that we saw at the most recent Outdoor Retailer trade show...

super lightweight, slim fit...yet protective...sure is better than the NHL worthy hockey padding we wore when we learned to snowboard on the East Coast.

PLUS: The company's to charitable support of organizations with a mission to protect the reason we all wear Body Glove to begin with- the beauty of the ocean....
