Well, since our Spring 2012 look see of the Swedish brand Fjållråven (means fox) ---we not only know how to pronounce the name, have instant recall on our MAC how to do those two dot thing-eys above the "a"...
...we also basically see those Känken (backpacks/rusacks) all over Manhattan -hauling around stuff for native NYers and tourists alike--- (we know they are tourists cause they bunch up and clog the sidewalks).
What's new for Fall 2012 is a re-branding in a way-with a big push on the USA market-that should have the retro looking (in a good way), functional - performance brand in a store near you. (Besides the J. Crew collab, fyi).
HIGHLIGHTS: The NUMBERS is a collection of "state of the art outdoor garments..." in men's - uni-sex styles.
Durable, functional and stylish, the Numbers Series are made of eco aware fabrics and production standards---AND like the early days of Fjällräven, the products are numbered-hence the cool garment tags-with a story.
A wall of colorful Känkens---$55 (mini)-$75
