ANTI AVANTI – FUNCTIONAL WHIMSY FOR MODERN GRAPHIC DRIVEN LABEL

Startstyling’s run of show info included a narrative on a guy and gal--- in their late teens, early 20’a, a drug fueled dream moment, and a return to the comforts of reality.

Which is an apt metaphor for this label.

Yeah, one could take in the scene and go “cool”---and leave it at that.

But in fact, we believe there is some serious fashion here---and it showed up on the models strutting down the runway---who looked just like the kind of humans that would wear these clothes---not pro models.

Germans skew tall and thin anyway, so we got a cross section of looks and ethnic backgrounds---that reminded us of the great melting pot of visages in NYC actually.

The clothes focused on  multi-functional and unisex attire---beginning with some over-sized shirts,

Some very gender specific indigo denim wear with frayed edges,

Swimwear

Terrific haulers---

And fab leggings---featuring unique transfer prints.

There is a lot of hand details---embroidered and painted---

--- And very futuristic holographic foil covers the seams--- that fuse up a tech edge.

WHAT ELSE: The last look a caftan ---and the finale---a conga line to a traditional folksong---straight out of Hansel and Gretel land.

Prices start at 40 Euros.

INTERESTING: Lots of hand embroidered burka style head coverings

The Collection Ships March 2011----to select trendy stores throughout Europe---though we have a feeling some of the leggings and tees could turn up in the USA too.
