Thorlos’ brand of ped coverings clearly saved our toes from freezing/falling off this week…as we trudged through the sloshy, snowy NYC streets covering New York’s Fashion…in our clearly--- not as billed waterproof boots… that let in so much water, we could’ve skipped the subway and floated home.
But our toes were warm…courtesy of a pair of Thorlos® socks made with an exclusive blend of merino wool blend.
WHAT’S NEW:
A line of totally redone ski and snowboard socks---that serves up eight new DURABLE models of ped coverings--- hitting the market later on this year.

SO Thorlos has thick, thick cushioned socks with padding targeting ball, heels, insteps and shins …and spandex for support in the arch. Plus…a ventilation panel for better air circulation.
On the other end of the spectrum…experts get ultra thin socks--- with a flat knit for warmth, protection and comfort, pique stitching in the calf and arch (stretch and fit), and extra spandex in the ankle for a precise fit inside technically advanced, custom fitted boots.
Advanced and intermediate skiers get their own too…

ECO ALERT:
The big deal for us was the intro of the new Thor•Wick eco friendly yarn, made from 100% post-consumer recycled PETE …and also made using eco-friendly production practices---that use up less energy.
Several models of the aforementioned ski socks, as well as new Kids Snow socks--- and the newly reworked Snowboard socks (thick cushioning for beginners with a thick calf pad to protect against boot pressure…and a style with thinner cushioning for experts… with a flat knit at ankle to prevent bunching---a VERY big deal)…
All sport the green Thor•Wick in meaningful percentage amounts…depending on the style.
