The LAST WALK
We thought we didn't have a nostalgic bone in our body.
But even our eyes got a tad watery, watching Fern Mallis of IMG (the raison d'etre of MERCEDES BENZ FASHION WEEK at the Tents in Bryant Park) ---as she hugged well wishers, exiting the last show---- a Preppy With A Pop--- polished, 46 looks' performance by Tommy Hilfiger.
And the very last fashion show at this "7th On 6th" location.
We snapped away as Russell Simmons, Joe Zee (Elle) Hamish Bowles (Vogue), Suze Yalof Schwartz (Glamour), and other fashion folks like photographer Dan Lecca, Simon Doonan (Barney's), Brant F. Stead...gave congratulatory hugs.
We think: to say well earned is a massive understatement.
