We lost a pair of Native sunglasses in Berlin a few weeks back. Usually we are pretty good at ‘letting go’… but we mourned the loss of these shades…as they fit (Self Adjusting Cushinol™ Nose Pads), were so light- less than an ounce (Rhyno-Tuff® Air Frames), looked really good (maple tort/gray lenses), and performed as billed with full eye/sun protection (Polarized Crystal Carbonate® Lenses blocks 100% UV light and eliminates glare)…

So now we hope some German is rockin’ them…though they may not have a clue about this American brand that’s’ now based in Denver…

We couldn’t remember the exact style of Natives we had…but fortunately there are some hot new styles set to launch for S/S 2010…that join the other 17 high performance frames that are currently for sale.

The WAZEE (an “edgy” Denver street)---was the crowd fav on Demo Day. This cool looking pair of eyegear nails the trend for oversized sunglasses…AND has Native’s Mastoid Temple™ grip (a larger paddle and temple tip that disperses pressure across a wider area).

Another new design feature is the “Folding Plate Technology” that “allows the temples to fold into themselves, requiring less material and thereby reducing the overall weight of the frame.” So The Wazee is ultraweight, comfortable, and sports the interchangeable lens system.

The GONZO and the SPRINT, two best selling styles have a new color for Spring 2010... the black (Asphalt) matte frames.

GONZO

Our top pick...the BOLT in Snow Streak-----White!

Prices generally range from $89-$149, depending on frames, lenses, etc that makes Native a great value…especially since they’re very durable.
