DOCKERs-introduced its new ALPHA collection of polished, casual menswear last night to a crowd of eager NY media types...who did not mind waiting one bit to get a handsome L/S giveaway---hot off the press.

Over the past few years, Dockers have very successfully re-made its brand image (imo)---into a label for men and women---wanting well cut, well priced separates to wear on the clock or off.
More
grown-up in a way than its sibling Levi's.
Which makes sense as Dockers was the original what to wear to work on casual Fridays -go to khaki pants...that now are slim cut-on trend staples.

What we liked---
it all looked effortlessly pulled together-as the Alpha collection's tapered silhouettes transcend any age group-via multi-hued flat front pants (all machine washable, fyi), tweedy chunky knit cardy, autumnal prints-camo and Fair Isles-used judiciously in a jacket and sleeveless vest, neat, relaxed fit L/S button downs (or up) in faded -vintage rinses, darker tones for Fall, single breast wool blend blazers-to wear ---really, any wear...
Well done---nice to see the pants that
Prince Harry wears...expand into a full fledged collection.
