HAIR: L'ORÉAL PROFESSIONNEL
Katharine Polk designed a season-less and very pretty collection for Fall 2012...and the overall hair/beauty marching order was romantic with a modern touch.
Hairwise-the stylists has the models with loose curls down-then shaped 3 ways-parted on the side-loose- and tucked behind a left ear, twisted in a low bun or slicked back on one side.
We had a nice chat with Laura Polke-L'Oréal Professionnel's hair lead-and she told us that past collabs between her and Katharine Polk-resulted in a repeat for this show.
TIP: Hairspray should be sprayed from several inches away to get a light mist-for a good hold that's not crunchy.
AND for more textured hair...aka "ethnic hair" the secret is to use more heat, not product for a better hold. For dry hair try L'Oréal Professionnel's Mythic Oil.
make-up galore- |
Make-up used ran the gamut-including Bobbi Brown foundation...and custom mixed lip colors using Nars....primarily Scarlett Empress a bold fushia pink.
