Jackson Hole WYOMING
Kate Schade was inspired by her hungry stomach and love of skiing---
---And conjured up the impressively filling, organic energy bars for noshing during the wait for the Tram lift up at the glorious Rocky Mountains’ ode to snow, Jackson Hole ----
Satiated for an AM of first tracks---she shared her creations…and with all the positive feedback, launched a business…
Offering three energy bars that we tried while mid-hike and hungry ourselves…the original Tram Bar packed with goodies... (Organic Rolled Oats, Organic Tropical Blossom Honey, Peanut Butter, Milk Chocolate, Rice Nuggets, Organic Dried Apricots, Organic Raisins, Organic Bananas, Organic Sunflower Seeds, Organic Sesame Seeds, Sea Salt)…got the first taste.
It was moist, chewy and very filling…. coming in at 3oz and 360 calories…about double the “average” energy bar, it equals an entreé for a meal, IMHO.
Almost like eating dessert though too---the peanut butter taste really comes through which we liked---and the crunch lent textural fun.
The Grizzly Bars shared everything but the label with the Tram Bars we thought…equally as satisfying and yummy.
Our fav though goes to the exotic spicy, chocolate-y Caz Bar…(gluten and dairy free too)…
The tastes of coconut spice and organic garam masala---cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, cumin, black pepper, and coriander-all organics) was very much to our liking…plus smaller in size (190 calories)…we think it makes a great snack, whenever. The Caz actually reminded us of some of the exotic chocolate treats we’ve sampled from high-end chocolate brands.
Retail availability is growing and e-commerce is available too---with gift sets ready to ship.
