Somewhere, over the rainbow, there’s a G-Star show of quality contemporary wear that would be right at home in Oz.
Which might surprise the fans of it’s amazingly well fitting denim line that emerged from the RAW Denim launch back in the 90's.
For the RTW Fall/Winter 2010 runway show we knew G Star Raw would be :
A spectacular event…with choreography worthy of the New York City Ballet fused with hip hop precision, a light show that takes a page from some Las Vegas extravaganza…
And a lot of inspired ensembles (especially from the 40's we thought), grouped in brilliant color schemes…but with three runways and a main stage humming, the timing of it all is impeccable.
Oh yeah, and plenty of celebs of all sorts.
Two pocket bombers with military snap...
three piece suits, and tailored camel style coats in YELLOW brick road yellow for guys.

Flirty a-line minis that could do double duty on an ice skating ring, kick pleat skirts with matching jackets with a uniform vibe, sleek wrap sweaters for women, and brightly hued hosiery stood out in the swirl of it all.
Blazers and skirts with a mid straps an interesting 'closing' touch...like that of pleated girl school uniforms.
Weather wear...techy fabrics keep the elements out.
