MADISON AVENUE-60's
Frankly, we were thinking Fashion Night In as we were a tad tired from shows/ presentations all day!!!!
7th On 6's/IMG Fern Mallis with Solange-Jewels galore : we have no excuse being tired and looking ragged...Ms. Malis works non-stop and is NICE too.
But a chance to meet the charming Casare Paciotti (his fierce shoes LOVE)
... got us in the New Years Eve spirit that apparently had Manhattanites OUT. Reports from pals in the Meatpacking district and in Soho, say the same thing==="OFF THE HOOK."
Ruben and Isabel Toledo---the Mr. sketching purchasers of the Mrs.'s book-at Barney's
COLE HAAN STORE [Model shoulda had a PBR)
We were on Madison Avenue where the streets were packed with VERY well dressed men and women attired in cocktail party finery.
ROBERTO CAVALLI STORE
ROBERTO CAVALLI's SRO boutique..Saleswoman raising her hand (a sale!) while another one quipped "...the store is probably being robbed."
THE OLSEN TWINS ARE IN THERE SOMEWHERE-AT BARNEY's
MODELS IN DOLCE GABANNA STORE WINDOWS
We don't know how much real shopping was going on (except at the Barney's Makeup Floor downstairs- which was ringing the cash registers)...but it was MAJOR FUN!
JIMMY CHOO:BUZZING! Model swore to us the shoes were comfortable "for three hours."
? Moment: The PR "The ALLIES" guarded Red Ropes at Oscar De La Renta and Ungaro (Was Lindsay there?).
POPPY KING at Barney's-The Lipstick Queen
Vogue's Beauty Director, Sarah Brown--working overtime at Barney's-FYI: Her makeup was flawless!
