Best high and/or mid waist- winter worthy black leggings-for exercising (or crawling along)...to wear in/out of gym, on a run, layered up over-for a night out-or in- that won't want to rip off the sec you get home:
RYU Apparel ($95-with no slip TriLayr® waistband) and Girlfriend Collective ($68-launched with big free giveaway that imo-must have set some kind of internet record) ...are both small, under the radar brands-that make the best fitting flattering (comfy compressive) non-shiny leggings that are our go-to staple wardrobe basic half the year.
Other tidbits- both are shape retainers-body shapers-with flatlock seams, no-chafe construction, breathable gusset lined, and survives loads of wear/wash-maintaining that rich black color.
Bonus points...both brands use sustainably sourced recycled materials and Bluesign® certified fabrics, and environmental manufacturing practices!
