Big news on the comfort part- the Wolverine ICS™ (Individual Comfort System) patented ---of course, that's an embedded cannot feel gel disc in the heel of some kicks- lets the wearer personalize the hard-stiff-to softness level of support desired, underfoot, We have an old version of this in a pair of Wolverine hiking boots from a few years ago-and can vouch for "this" really working. Nifty.
Other details that protect-ArmorTek™ heel and toe bumpers, Vibram® or burly rubber lug outsoles, PC Dry Silver Waterproof Membrane linings, and compression molded EVA midsoles for comfort and energy return with each step.
