We were thrilled to see the
Oliberté collection of men/women's footwear and new accessories at a recent media preview…because, what's not to love about:
a) well made wear forever shoes and fab satchels/backpacks…and b) Oliberté is made in Ethiopia…with most materials sourced from within that country…and manufacturing facilities/processes-using eco/sustainable/non-toxic methodologies-including using as little water as possible…while employing the local population and paying them living wages with benefits. Bravo.

Happily-the output-sells well-and not just because consumers are drawn to the 'brand story'--- it's part of it---but we think for buyers (and retailers) -the products are on trend and clearly are top-notch from toe to heel. We could look at an Oliberté shoe under a magnifying glass- and = it would be flawless.

Oliberté's contemporary priced footwear-boasts a lot of polished high end materials and finishes-INCLUDING...natural crepe rubber soles that are impervious to temperature changes and are durable, premium leathers and suede colored responsibly not chemically, reverse leather on the heel-an extra step- for great fit/non-slippage, and very visibly amazing- all those hand-stitch details (averaging 1000/shoe!!!)-=sophisticated, expensive eye-catching results- and make for a less of a need to use glue.
