Environmental protection and sustainability are playing an increasingly important role in the denim industry. The German company MUSTANG has now developed a completely new method, in which a selection of denim clothing gets produced completely without water. (AND fyi, the garment industry is second to agriculture for use of fresh water!).
As part of the AW13 collection for men- MUSTANG presents for the first time ---the completely free of water collection with high-end vintage washes-via specific treatments achieved entirely by hand. The brand new methods were developed by the company, dubbed "Free Water". Treatments- pure manual labor, not machine washed- get the desirable soft hand feel-"used look" ... The Free Water-range-consists of two jeans styles for 99.95 per Euro, a denim shirt for 89.95 euros and a denim jacket for 119 euros and will be available in stores from August 2013. Not a label easy to find in the USA---but a lifestyle brand, that's been around since 1932---and makes over 20,000 pairs of denim jeans/day. |
