TRENDSETTING LUXURY EYEWEAR...PLUS VINTAGE/CONTEMPORARY CLOTHING + ACCESSORIES, and High Octane Caffeine Choices---
Founded by entrepreneur Selima Salaun-Selima Optique's collections of sophisticated and glamorous eyeglass frames have given the gift of style and clear sight to loads of celebs, designers...and regular folks.
Recently, we got a glimpse of some of the fashion forward frames for sale---at her eponymous boutique on 7 Bond Street NYC- (there's eight in all...and also available at select retail outlets worldwide-as well as online).
The retro-ish frames are in fun colors-solid and multiple--- with names inspired by 1950's and 60's French cultural stars.
The highly individualized frames actually go through a multi-step process to come to life as a pair of glasses... hand-cut in France, too---hence the refreshingly unique takes on classic eyewear styles- like the always chic cat-eyes, and sporty or futuristic versions on the always cool aviators.
Repairable---also, plus 'script friendly. And customizable options too...
Also available at this boutique in NOHO-vintage eye frames and apparel/accessories---neatly arranged on racks to plow through...perhaps aided by a deeply motivating buzz acquired from consuming a delish Counter Culture espresso... prepared -oh so perfectly in the back room café.
Napoleon never looked better-proof eyewear can be transformative! |
