Hurley is a youthful skate, surf, outdoorsy brand of apparel and swim/surf wear...we always look forward to the media preview...and we always walk away impressed by the style and technology...and affordability!
BOARD SHORTS are for us, Hurley's claim to fame---
The Phantom 120-made of the top-of-the line P120 Phantom Fabric (compressed micro fibers woven with spandex for 140% stretch)--featuring the patent pending and proprietary Nike Flywire -a thread that morphs into a supportive fiber-individually thinner than human hair wow---(Nike being the parent company of Hurley, fyi---where the techy thread, composed of Vectran, was developed by the Director of Innovation, Jay Meschter--)...
AND the precisely engineered/designed...with welded seam construction (fyi improves durability and >50% stretch over traditional stitched seams), patented ez fly closure that's velcro-less-and therefore more comfy, less bulky, embroidered waistband icon, no inseam (no chaffing!!!) and a streamlined zip pocket...delivered with limited edition box, surfing DVD and limited edition surf book. Very cool, durable, the ultimate fit for every move you got...
ALSO: the Phantom 60 4D featuring the ultimate form fitting stretch, thin light comfortable---and bumpin' Dalek graphic board shorts...LOVE...made of recycled, superstretch, performance and water repellant textiles.
SILKY FEEL..by the way...we'd wear an entire outfit made of this... drapes well too. For Fall 2011- starts to ship this summer, actually---terrific graphics, solid and prints like camo...
Prices for the above $125-$200 for the hind end...but Hurley has "regular" board shorts that adhere to the "TRUE PERFORMANCE" credo- that cost a lot less..
