Risto Bimbiloski showed a very wearable collection of day to evening looks inspired by his telescopic sightings of the moon and beyond.
The rough lunar landscape translated into an assortment of fabric textures ---of beige toned--- suede, smooth leather, cotton and weightless gauze...
Our favorite garments and a Risto signature we think...are the painterly prints on sheer layered frocks.
Top looks---a cool mint green layered ensemble and minty moon prints "for a maximum dreamlike effect."
The craftsmanship---embellishment and artisanal embroidery...throughout...
The last looks are from the "dark side" of night sky prints form a collaboration with British photographer James Reeves. Made from leather (dress below is a winner)... and a group of web-like embroidered knitwear embellished with plexiglass inserts. These long lean silhouettes are very chic...we love the sheer legs of these trousers...and the backless long knit gown pictured below. Very sophisticated
