CES UNVEILED NY Innovation Awards 2016-Eureka Park Highlights Part 2

Nominees of the CES Innovation Awards and a few Eureka Park start-up products got lots of attention from the full house of media and business types.

Aligning the perimeter and center of the spacious ground floor of the Metropolitan Pavilion, the exhibitors -who hailed from several countries...displayed their techy goods---while refining their elevator pitches -before heading out to the main stage of CES 2016 in Las Vegas.

Accordingly, some explanations of what the benefits of several IoT (Internet of Things) products on display- eluded us...but maybe-things got lost in translation. Overall, the selections were rather nifty and def. have consumer appeal.

SOME Highlights...

A huge display case in the center had some of the CES Innovation Awards 2016  nominees. Noted...lack of Apple products (though there are accessories to...)--- but then we figured out-these winners are chosen from submissions...and  -that notably, Apple does not even exhibit at that massive tradeshow.
Software and Mobile Apps=Airspek-DietSensor, pioneer in automatic nutrient tracking...analyzes food with a click of a button using a micro scale+SCIO-the first molecular sensor that fits in a hand. Neat.

Digital Imaging category-interests us-Ricoh Imaging Americas Corp. Ricoh Theta S-1st of its kind spherical imaging camera that captures 360 degree scenes surrounding the user...seems  VR ready...captures an image up, down, sideways, and all around.

OuraRing -well designed VERY lightweight wellness computer-in a shape of a ring that with its app-Fitness, Sports and Biotech category- but imo could be smart wearables... nicer than those watch-like ones
