ALICE and OLIVIA By STACY BENDET SS'16 #NYFW

Stacy Bendet is the cool gals designer ---her ensembles for Spring '16- that included flirty dressy dresses, richly embroidered separates, skirts of all lengths-and flirty blouses---with many a nods back to the 60's 70's-including amazing accessories- suede totes, slouchy hobos, knee high boots and fab suede gladiator flat sandals---are all very wearable, flattering and well-cool.

The 5 vignettes-had different style themes-ranging from desert sand toned urban inspired pieces...to  embroidered details straight outta Tulum, Mexico.

Accessibly luxurious-and imo-year round wearable...swap out the footwear -add hosiery---- a warm sweater or  outerwear coat.

winners at this show= suede fringed gladiator sandals
 very along in pregnancy-the designer Stacy Bendet STILL rocks her look-bonus points-suede platform boots.

Highlights:
Group One-front look embroidered linen bomber jacket, black+white try sequin stripe crop top, tan stretch suede mid length pencil skirt reminded us of Faye Dunaway, poppy rafia lia wedge sandals
floral embellished bell bottoms ...chambray koi short sleeve boxy button down blouse w/ natural winona slouch boot-a very retro look that's very fun

Group 2 -left-silhouette is retro done done well in pretty floral box pleat gown

Goddess gowns...and our idea of black tie---ornate white wide leg back zip pants with silk french cuff button down blouse...

gold kahlo embellished v neck gown w/ slit paired with gold white gala heel=nice




Group 4 had black and white in many inventive ways-blooming magnolia floral dresses to graphic stripe denim blazer and wide leg jean paired with a delicate sleeveless high neck lace blouse -very 60's Emma Peel.
