We were excited to see
SCOTT making itself known in the Endurance Zone at the most recent Outdoor Retailer show...as we had a first wave of their running flats with a velcro tabbed heel hinge mechanism---which our teammates joked (kinda) would shave off 20 secs in a T2 Triathlon transition.

There is a lot of new to us running and bike shoes...and a line of techy apparel that we didn't even know existed---a true four seasons brand---with a huge skisports division too...as the company was founded by Ed Scott an engineer/ski racer from Sun Valley, Idaho.
First up was the running shoes-crafted with an 'efficient' natural gait-which of course varies...for serious racers, trail and recreational users.

AeroFoam that Scott uses instead of an EVA foam in most of their shoes---interesting---with the claim that it's longer lasting and super lightweight (50% lighter)...which would be great cause running shoes are pricey!
