SANUK-Spring 2013 Footwear-Men's /Women's

Empire Hotel, NYC

SANUK---is a rather large collection of spirit infused sandals/feet coverings with a readable catalogue full of info and fun.

Usually previewed at Outdoor Retailer, we took in a few styles during New York Fashion Week---instead---where a small selection was shown---kind of grouped by color story.

Baseline Collection
Comfort is key ---for this brand that hails from the laid back So-Cal surfer life. BUT there's also a lot of innovation in the construction process...including the "revolutionary NOTTAVULC construction" in the new Baseline collection (pictured above- for men). It is a patented sandal construction that gives the look of a vulcanized shoe...but with no stitch-boards, no shanks, no a slim profile. A EVA midsole offers the support and cushion---with other attributes that employ less plus.

Flip-flops for the beach to the boardwalk---different footbeds, including re-purposed yoga mats...with stylin' details.
