Nine West- the brand has grown so far beyond its contemporary footwear origins---the label now has offshoots to entice an even wider audience- dedicated to trendy and classic shoes.

Lat night, the Nine West Vintage America Store-with Kate Ciepluch and Gilt City-  hosted invitees and several of the designers the company has collab-ed with -including the aforementioned in the None West Vintage line, as well as handbag maestro Monica Botkier  and footwear creator Matt a snack, drink fueled shopping event---(great combo, YES).

We chatted with both Botkier and Bernson who told us that Nine West reached out to them...and that the handbags and shoe---were made in the facilities that these to use. Pretty impressive. Also---as Botkier's satchels are more glamourous uptown gal ---her Nine West pure leather handbags are "more refined" her words, but we think--- still fab. Bernson's collection -with glittery heels ---is very similar to his own line.

some of the good at Kate's marketplace-
The store itself-of course was packed---is not the typical Nine West retail bricks and mortars---we gather-with selections from Boutique Nine and  Nine West Vintage America---as well as an area devoted to findings like vintage hats, boots, bags and jewelry Kate Ciepluch picked up on a road trip.

FYI: Many boots/shoes/handbags we saw for sale at the store ---are not available online...which is the whole point of having a store.
