It's easy to see why---the 80 years old French label/brand that's a ginormous world wide seller-just nails it when it comes to integrative marketing merchandise that typically sport the crocodile icon-
the clothes-casual, athlete-ready and runway,
the footwear-from lazy day beach sandals-to feminine heels- to hand crafted men's classics,
the accessories-sunglasses, multi-tasking handbags/satchels, watches, and even the
home decor =all capture the Lacoste spirit of sporty chic.

There was a lot to say
OUI OUI to for Spring 2014 which should start shipping in about 5 weeks…beginning with the overall design arch that refs Lacoste heritage as an athletic wear brand-tennis in particular---plus, sailing, golf….and taking those elements-in colors ad silhouettes…into the clothes…and footwear.

Women's sportswear looks get a very stylish take---very Euro too---rafia finish---woven running shoe with narrower last so its very feminine. Also very cool-a croc-inspired 'scale' sole-for great grip and movement---lined in moisture wicking/breathable leather. NICE.

René Lacoste actually patented the first tubular steel metal tennis racquet (which sold in the USA under Wilson Sporting Goods moniker)---- the old wooden ones that dominated courts till the early 1960's. Hence the croc tennis racquets…and all he terrific modern preppish takes on old school classic navy blazer, trousers, and oxford brogues.
