TIM HAMILTON REDUX MEN’S FALL 2010

NEW YORK…MILK STUDIOS

Words, Images Judith Ecochard

MILK STUDIOS---(aka MAC&MILK)--- off the highway on West 15th Street seemed to be the place to be during New York Fashion Week’s Fall collections…especially on the jammed 8th floor where TIM HAMILTON showed his sporty line “REDUX” to a beer swilling crowd …moving to the beat courtesy of DJ Fumi Nagasaki.

Fitting choice of music… since we learned the REDUX clothes are made in Japan…

AND for sure--- have that outerwear durability that is a must for winter wear...but with club/street culture trendy influences--- going on.

ALERT:  hipsters can keep warm and keep their cool.

We actually checked out the stocklists on his website…and found widespread distribution in Japan…as well as internationally, in general.

Tim Hamilton who hails from Iowa…also shows a more upscale line of suits and separates in Paris…but this venue got plenty of eyeballs from guys that would actually wear these clothes.

Spillover from Gwen Stefani's after-party...at the same time...just down the hall. Ciggies and Guiness on tap.

Dropped crotch pants aren’t one of our top looks…but with the tapering fit below the knees…came off ok for a certain age group with a slim build. The snug legging like trousers too...offset with more volume up top.

We thought the jackets and shirts the strongest pieces…timeless and work for a wide range of men/builds.
