SENDRA: SPRING/FALL 2010 PREVIEW

High-End Boots For Stylish Wearing & Walking

We always love to ‘discovering’ new to us labels…and Sendra is a wow brand--- a family owned biz from Spain ---a country that’s rivals Italy for quality and workmanship, shoe wise.

Known for three main silhouettes for men and women- western, work and motorcycle, we found the kickers to have classic lines, some with a vintage vibe…but with edgy, updated touches via solid metal hardware (buckles, grommet embellishments),

clever straps, and some hand stitched details.

And…with average prices of $400-$500, Sendra is made as well as costly Euro brands…with a 250 step process from start to finish, and Goodyear welt construction.

What is big for spring is a new soft suede material in “year round” neutral colors.

We also love the tri-strap here.

Rider/equestrian styles are always popular. Here is a fresh take …with a bold zipper (in colors too) in the back and eye catching cross-stitching.

A buckle boot with a stacked heel and shade graduations down to the toe for that lived in look.

For Fall 2010, warm shearling lining and cuffs.

And in the USA…Victorian boots are big.

Guys get their own versions of work boots. What’s super hot with retailers are the mixed materials used…with rough edges. We think these give these looks a lot of personality.

There are also refined dressier options like the tried and true pull-on chuka style.

And plenty of cowboy styles in super soft distressed leathers.

FYI: A team of designers get it…:)
