SALOMON Late Winter 2013- Spring 2014 Footwear-M/W

OR/SLC

Sense S-Lab
We spent much of our time at Salomon-previewing the new footwear styles vs. apparel---cause there is a whole lotta new going on.

AS in -new takes on the now classic classics (S-Lab Sense series) and a brand new category for the company-CityTrail™ running shoes (X-Scream, X-Tour)---

...for urban jaunts-which can be on pavement-smoothish pebble free dirt, or bumpy rock/rodent laden byways through the trees.

the mission….Designed For Freedom-athletic driven
Shared Salomon DNA =of course,-the mission---as pictured above-Designed For Freedom…and really well made shoes-featuring SensiFit™ and Quicklace™ systems-(pull and run), supportive/cradling but not restrictive Sensiflex™, non-marking Contragrip® laden outsoles that grip the trodden surfaces-effectively---uneven and wet-while inside quick drying textile-and/or molded OrthoLite® insoles/sockliners provide comfort-esp if like to run without thick socks.
Sense Pro-$130-front ---natural motion and racing shoe-with protection (Profeel Film, dual density cushioning) and underfoot feel---for mid-forefoot strikers.

Mountain running know how for urban runners-the X-Scream series for men/women has good cushioning via LT Muscle and OT Tendon (shorter under forefoot for maximum runner efficiency on push-off)-nifty structural elements--as well as toe caps, breathable mesh uppers, cage upper that gives an envelope fit for feet.

Salomon 'givens' like Sensifit™, one pull Quicklace™ and Endofit™ for that second skin feel, and an improved Contragrip™ outsole -multi-directional lugs for better grip and durability.
