Anyone who’s walked the streets of New York is aware of 2(X)IST. It’s hard to miss the provocative ads of the handsome male model in their briefs. He’s everywhere, the ad is liberally plastered at bus stops throughout NYC. 2(X)IST though, is more than just a pair of jockey shorts for hot guys as we discovered after attending their latest show.

The folks at 2(X)IST know how to create a media event with a lot of attendant buzz. While waiting to enter the venue, we never would have imagined that we’d soon be watching Carmen Electra in black boudoir wear performing a cabarat/burlesque act while suspended from a large ring at the top of the runway. This was surprising as we’d gotten used to seeing Ms. Electra nightly fully clothed in designer ensembles while hosting “Full Frontal Fashion”. While the sideshow was hugely entertaining, it was the actual loungewear that made us happiest we’d braved the melee that evening.
It's great to be comfortable, and you CAN do it in a stylish, inexpensive and eco-friendly way thanks to companies like 2(X)IST which work with organic bamboo fiber. We loved the newly created "her" line of easy pieces for women. They’re ideal for at home lounging, but are demure enough to wear on trips to the grocery store or after yoga class. Better still, some of the outfits come in the same color-ways as the guys, so you can be matchy-matchy if you so desire. We put at least three of the women’s ensembles on our shopping list for spring.
