TRETORN®: FALL 2011-THE 120th ANNIVERSARY COLLECTION

OUTDOOR RETAILER/SLC

Tretorn, a Swedish based footwear/apparel company- is re-upping its USA’s efforts---delivering a standout collection of footwear.

And don’t just take our words for it---many other exhibitors at the recent Outdoor Retailer tradeshow gave Tretorn’s collection the good ole' two thumbs up.

We remember the Tretorn tennies from the 80’s…

...and with the au courant mode of vintage’s popularity, refreshed with modern features like the above smokin' hot SKYMEA Men's slip-ons...

…there really was a lot to like...and we were completely revitalized ourselves--- after dragging to this last appointment of DAY 2.

The Sofiero ($ 150) is made of a classic olive rubber…with a tough outsole with gum treads and Outlast® Adaptive Comfort Wool lining (feels soft and fleecy)---a unique Tretorn/Outlast collaboration for the ultimate in warding off the elements without the uncomfortable clammy feel.

The women’s boot comes in a knee high length and we thought the red laces though three eyelets near the top, and the red logo on the heel…providing a fun color pop.

The Men’s Ärsta 120 ($85) is a classic olive green rubber boot with a reflective logo shield on the back and highly visible 3M™ reflective heel tape on the bottom.

PLUS: Easily stretchable for one second slip-on ability…we were told it’s a sailor inspired profile.

AND boasts the warm Outlast® Adaptive Comfort Wool Lining.

Duckboots seem to be all the rage for Fall 2011 and Tretorn managed to create a feminine looking boot---no snap-to feat. The Apselin ($140) has an ecoOrthoLite® insole for comfort and a roof catch in the tongue for waterproofing… as well as a soft brushed lining. D –ring hardware--- and a rubber mid-sole and gum rubber outsole for durability too.

We thought this sneaker boot hybrid really interesting and it comes with two pairs of laces! The Öbo GTX ($170) is made of a full leather upper and has Gore-Tex® for serious protection.

ALSO---The Skerry Vinter and Vinter -- ($60, $70)

and the Highlander Boot Vinter ($160) a first for us---both unisex boots with the HBV's synthetic sherpa lining for warmth like the softest blanket.

We hope we get to see what else Tretorn® is up too…and we probably will because giant PUMA AG. owns them.
