Part 3 Fancy Food Show 2017-Javits Center/NYC via GIPHY Buttery-ish crispy, salty and satisfying-seaweed (nori) crisps/chips are a popular snack -naturally low in calories -and increasingly spiced up or sprinkled with almonds. The only downside-def can't eat just 'one' serving-packaged like crackers... but practically more melt in your mouth then chewy and thus easy to devour (and not share). South Korean and Japanese companies... showed off a few seaweed snacks... hot-spices married with salty seaweed-imo -better than the potato or whole grain based  competition-and healthier. most seaweed crisps roasted with sesame oil...Future Food's made with healthy grapeseed oil Samwon Food   HANMIRAE Seaweed Snack South Korea's C-Weed brand flavors it up with hints of sweet coconut-some of this company's products are sold on Amazon in bulk-trust us-want that many packets. Fancy Food Show Trends-New Chips, Seaweed, Bean, Cheese Snacks-Healthier Options ( free of ...) + Gourmet Flavors Part 1 Heathier gourmet snacks (always addictive...made from beans-USDA organic basics, higher protein, non-clogging oils etc...) made from pronounceable ingredients-many in single serve portable portions...aligned every aisles at the Fancy Food Show. Notably-non-GMO contents were seemingly on every package we saw-except a handful of nostalgic retro-goodies and some small local selections. No matter the regulatory mood in DC...consumers of all ages have opted for transparency and Mother Nature's provisions-without the man made chemicals- sustainably sourced. Seen-coffee as a flavoring, more name dropped sourcing- of single bean origins-like premium chocolates, new bottled drinks, and a clear winner judging by the retail interest-a 'healthier' powdered creamer. puzzling-the lengthy line for Starbucks in the Davits lobby-when inside the aisles of Italy's offerings...some of the smoothest coffee/espresso/cappuccino we ever had. Our first daily destination... grazie.   Cold Brew brags about its smooth taste-we'd say Ottobono -Italian coffee-roasted just so via a 1950's Petroncini machine  -tastes even more aromatically... deliciously satisfying-a true full hot sip---we even considered getting a Nepresso machine just to use its single serve capsules they had at the booth to de...
