West 26th Street, NYC Words/Images Judith Ecochard Without the glitz and glam of the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Runway fete in Berlin (click here for our review), NYC based media had a chance for a more leisurely (and quiet) follow-up to the Schumacher S/S 2011 RTW collection---that allowed us to get an up close view of what makes this label one of our favorites. We would slot the garments and accessories we saw ---and loved---in the luxury brand category...as the materials, workmanship, and details are in that high-end niche, though priced a bit more accessibly then say the premium lines of a Donna Karan or a Vera Wang, to name two comparable designers.
