Yes, that is the movie with Meryl Streep-as we concurred with like 10 people---fyi, based on the best selling book by Robert James Waller-set during the 1960's about a lonely Iowa living, Italian born farm wife who has a torrid fling with a visiting photographer, in town to document---of course-the bridges of Madison County. We thought the best looks at this runway show were the pretty printed, crocheted, or dreamy lace trim frocks that hinted at that era. Loosely fitting-for hot steamy days, the ensembles were complete-with hats, gloves and bunched up ankle socks atop footwear -two tone lace-up bootie, sweet pumps and wedge sandals.
